Renewal of Life Necklace

Fragua Flower - symbolizes the renewal of life. Our elders taught us that after a baby is born some rites should be followed: first is the sowing of the placenta in Mother Earth so the mother's womb keeps giving healthy life, and second is to give the newborn a bath with water mixed with Fragua flower to harmonize the newborn  and cover him/her with blessings and prosperity. It is said that the flower awakens the baby's senses - including the spiritual sense, so the newborn can communicate with Mother Earth.
