Freedom in Forgiveness Choker

This design embodies the traditional ‘Carnival of Forgiveness’. During this carnival, people celebrate the collaboration, peace, and unity among the indigenous. They believe that anyone who offended anyone may ask for forgiveness this day and all of them should grant pardons. This design depicts  the colorful feather crown wear by the ´Matachin´, one of the main character of the carnival,  who carries the responsibility of leading the festival,  and by ringing a bell invites the the community to join this celebration. You will find freedom in forgiveness!
